Glossary

Common FluxonLab terms used across product, platform, automation, and media docs.

Approval gate

A human decision point before automation sends, publishes, mutates, spends, or changes external state.

Building

A product actively in construction, previewed honestly and opened only when its release gate passes.

Coming soon

A public availability boundary: the product is previewed but not yet open for use. Not a signup promise and not a hype page.

Deterministic

Rule-based behavior that should produce the same result for the same input. Deterministic steps are useful for validation, overlays, resizing, archiving, and safety checks.

FC (Fluxon Credits)

The usage unit for provider-backed runs on FluxCore-connected surfaces. FC are recorded in a server-side ledger, kept in source-bound lots, and are never cash or a transferable balance.

FluxCore

The shared platform foundation for site-native surfaces: one account, membership, FC credits, usage metering, AI-gateway policy, approvals and audit. See FluxCore.

Ledger

The server-side, double-entry record that is the only authority for membership access and FC grants. A browser state or checkout return page grants nothing by itself.

Local-first

A product design where the primary working data lives on the user’s machine by default.

Manifest

A structured record of inputs, outputs, provider metadata, status, and review decisions.

Provider

An AI or infrastructure backend used by a product, such as a model API, CLI, search provider, or hosting platform.

Regeneration

Creating a new output for the same job after the first result failed quality, safety, or relevance review.

Reject archive

The storage area for outputs that should not be used but should remain available for audit and learning.

Review scaffold

A safe, provider-native draft or shell that FlowHub creates on platforms that cannot receive an n8n graph directly — it carries the source graph and metadata for manual mapping.

Split

A status label meaning one surface of a product is live while the larger product remains closed — for example, Fluxie Prompt Engineer is live while the full Prompt Studio is coming soon.
